Mount Carmel Cemetery was organized in 1878. The former Oak Hill Cemetery was added to our property in 2007.   Our convenient location, professional maintenance, and reasonable pricing, have kept us a popular burial site in the Mount Carmel area.  Recently we have opened a new section with 1100 graves and have renovated our chapel.  . The cemetery is non-denominational.   We do charge a fee for professional genealogical requests.  Family genealogical requests can be obtained from the manager when time permits.  Those doing historical research are reminded that there are a several other cemeteries in the immediate area. 

Pricing:  $400.00 per single grave including perpetual care
             $400.00 for cremation burial
             $675.00 for casket burial

Price increase effective June 1, 2011
              $400.00 still per single grave including perpetual care
              $450.00 for cremation burial  
              $750.00 for casket burial

This cemetery is regestered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State, Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs and it is therefore subject to all rules and regulations required by the Commonwealth.  (License Number CE003682)    The Mount Carmel Cemetery Company is non-profit.
